Last night wedding was a fairtytale wedding come true. When I met with my bride back in January, she expressed to me how much she loves Disney, fairies and secret gardens. That was the basis of our design. The wedding had many details and if you follow my blogs, you know it’s the details that make the wedding over the top. The centerpieces were at least 4 feet tall (maybe more). They were extraordinary. Our floral designer really captured the Secret Garden theme with these elegant masterpieces. I made pink water beads and mixed with ice crystals which allowed the centerpieces to look like Cotton Candy. Inside the vases are pink led lights to give a pinkish glow. To create the secret garden, I used a Moss Crush Overlay which were simply amazing. It was the perfect match with the centerpieces. I believe the wedding cake should be a show stopper and the baker did an awesome job. I love it when we are on the same plane of design thought and we were “on” with this wedding. The wedding cake represented a tree in an enchanted forrest where the wedding couple perhaps carved their initials in the tree base years ago in their childhood. The cake was then adorned with edible snails, butterflies and sugar flowers. To complete the look, we placed the cake on a 16 inch freshly cut tree stump. It was simply amazing. We will post the video later but for today I want to bask in the success of this wedding. It was simply beautiful. I love when my brides trust me and allow me to be creative. This is how dreams are made.
